Questions
Do I need a US address or a US company?
No. US and Canadian local numbers don’t need a US address, and you can use the line whether or not you’ve formed a US company.
Can I send texts from the number?
Not yet. Receiving texts works today. Sending needs US carrier registration, which we’re adding. Tick “Sending texts” in the form and you’ll hear first.
Will banks and apps send codes to this number?
Most do. Some services refuse internet phone numbers, so test the ones you rely on before you switch. A number costs $2 for the month you try it.
Can I get a number in another country?
Often, yes. Numbers in the UK, Germany, Australia and most other countries need the carrier’s paperwork, such as proof of address or company registration. Tell us the country in the form and we’ll say what it takes.
Where do incoming calls ring?
In the VoixCall web app in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Keep the tab open and calls ring like a phone. You can make calls from the iOS and Android apps too.
How do I pay?
With prepaid credit, by card or UPI. Credit never expires. Each number renews monthly until you cancel it.
Can an AI answer my number when I’m offline?
Not yet. If that’s what you need, tick it in the form. We’ll build it when enough teams ask.
